Aesthetic Bonding and Fillings

Aesthetic bonding of composite resin can be used to enhance your smile. We can close gaps, fix chips, and change the colour or shape of your teeth.

Composite resin fillings are done when needed to repair tooth damage due to decay or chips, or replace old fillings.

Cleaning & Examination

Regular professional dental cleanings and check-ups are integral to your health. We aim to treat the root cause to prevent gum disease and tooth decay where possible.

Early detection is best to keep you and your mouth healthy!

Some patients may require more frequent cleanings. These patients include diabetics, smokers, pregnancy patients, those who are susceptible to cavities, patients who accumulate excess plaque or calculus, and those with weakened immune conditions.

Cosmetic Dentistry

Crowns, Bridges & Veneers

Dental crowns are caps fabricated and placed on existing teeth to protect, cover, and restore the appearance of your tooth when a filling is not strong enough to ideally solve the issue. Crowns can be made of materials such as porcelain, zirconia, or gold.

A bridge is a dental restoration that replaces missing teeth. It includes an artificial tooth that is fused to crowns on either side to provide support.

Veneers enhance your smile as they are cosmetic, custom fabricated shells usually made from composite or porcelain. They fit over and are bonded to the front surfaces of your teeth. Veneers can camouflage cracks, chips, stains, as well as other cosmetic imperfections.

Dentures (Complete & Partial, Repairs, Relines)

Dentures are removable appliances with artificial teeth that can help you restore your smile by replacing missing teeth or a single tooth. Digital x-rays

We use digital x-ray imaging to capture x-rays of your teeth. Digital x-rays produce a radiographic image instantly on the computer. In addition to the excellent image quality, digital imaging systems emit less than 70% of the radiation as compared to standard non-digital systems. The superior quality of digital images allows for improved communication between you and your dentist.

Extractions

We do our best to save teeth, but a tooth extraction is a procedure that may be needed to remove a tooth that is badly damaged and cannot be repaired.

Implants

A dental implant is a fixture or post that is surgically positioned and inserted into your jawbone beneath your gums to replace a missing tooth. A crown is placed on the implant. It behaves like a natural tooth and preserves the remaining bone.

Laser

Using a laser allows us to precisely and gently remove or reshape gum tissue.

The laser can also painlessly speed the healing of a cold sore or an ulcer.

Nightguards/Sportsguards

We fabricate comfortable, custom nightguards to help protect your teeth and from damage. They may also alleviate TMJ discomfort. A nightguard cushions the effects of grinding or clenching as you sleep.

Custom sportsguards are pliable plastic appliances that prevent injuries to your teeth, lips, and jaws during sports. They are worn on your upper teeth and act as a shock absorber. They are available in a variety of colours!

Nitrous Oxide Gas (Laughing Gas)

We offer nitrous oxide to our patients upon request to manage your anxiety and pain during a dental appointment. It is a safe, effective method to reduce the anxiety of nervous patients while you are still awake for the appointment.

Nutrition

We offer nutrition analysis to ensure that you are maintaining your health. The root cause of some oral diseases are strongly connected to nutrition.

Nutrition counselling is especially beneficial for patients who are wearing orthodontic appliances, dentures, as well as for patients with missing teeth or have just had a surgical procedure.

Oral Home Care Instruction

Oral hygiene instruction is an important aspect of patients' preventative care as oral health is related to whole body health. Our team will explore the importance of, and illustrate, proper dental hygiene to parents of infants and toddlers, children, teenagers, and adults.

Oral Cancer Screening

This is a comprehensive physical and visual examination of a patient's oral cavity and connecting tissues including your mouth, throat, and neck. We check for abnormalities such as colour changes, lesions, lumps, and other irregularities. Although we screen you at each appointment, it is important for you to be aware of your oral health and alert us if you notice anything concerning between appointments.

Orthodontics / Invisalign

Invisalign is a clear, removable alternative to metal braces. It is an orthodontic process of wearing a series of removable, clear aligners to gradually straighten and rotate your teeth, close gaps, and improve your bite.

Paediatric Dentistry (Children)

In addition to providing care for adults, our team is dedicated to looking after the oral health of children from their infancy through their teenage years. Teaching children good oral care habits limits infection and tooth decay as children grow.

Periodontal Treatment

We provide periodontal treatment by thoroughly and deeply cleaning root surfaces to remove plaque, bacteria, and calculus to allow and maintain the attachment of the gum tissues to the tooth.
